Sleeyphead@boredom

I have been doing stuff that is of little interest to the
company right now. My loading only consists of tasks
that would take up at most an hour. So the company is
paying me for the other 7 hours for indulging myself in
boredom.Yippee. Hurray.

Actually, I have been dowloading and reading a lot
about Java Tiger in my "spare time". Im of the
opinion that I have posted something about Java
Tiger in this blogsite, and alas, after making a quick
peek (if u consider visiting sites with an internet
connection crawling like a ant as "peeking") I realized
that I have been mistaken. Ooops.

But why do I feel like that I've simply forgotten to
click the "Publish Post" button?

Hmmm... fishy.. no matter... I will post something
about Java Tiger study later on. (By "later",
I mean "next month". )

And before I begin ranting about the tech-bits that
I have read off the web, Im going to explain first
my "predicament".

Basically, I am of the impression that I'm into
technology. That I am a mover with the world.
That I'm not technologically blind or deaf
when it comes to programming. Well, I was
only deluding myself.

Back then 4 years ago, there were only 3 of us
who were adept with XML-XSLT processing of
socket messages. Now, I've realized I have a blank
bank account in technology. Who cares if I'm able
to apply XML-procssing in data crunching? How
about the other facets of system programming? Im
still a "zero".

Thus, now I am picking up everything that seems
remotely new and interesting to me off the giant
shelf called the "Internet".

And whadya know? Im still too lazy to read all the
ebooks I downlaoded about Ruby and Java. But at
least I have a collection of ebooks that I would be
able to read IF I can get the chance to read them.
(Take note of the "IF").

It was a good thing that our project leader, who as
bored as I am, called us to start a study group on
Java Tiger. Okay now, dont go bashing and
smirking... But it's true. A study group on Java
Tiger! Actually, the other people have already
started studying and playing around java Tiger
months ago. Java Mustang is expected to be released
this year! Wow! Talk about investing on research.
Late.. Tch tch tch. But hey, we're late but we're
getting there.

And what I stated above consumes only upto 20%
of my 7 hours. The rest of my "spare time" is spent
on researching about DOTA. What? never heard of it?
Chances are you havent googled lately. There's even
a wikipedia entry for it.

I know, I know, I know. Im a 25-year old married guy
who's still into games. Pathetic. But at least it keeps me busy.
And right now, Im just blogging away with my "spare time".
